Faery Guides and Guardians

The faery guides and guardians are those who devote time and energy to directly guiding humans as we develop our special talents and gifts and our own natural magic. They help us to become more than we already are, exploring our potentials and transcending our self-imposed limitations and fears. In some cases, they help us to climb out of the holes we have made for ourselves by misusing or misunderstanding our talents and potentials. They believe that a sense of humor is a necessary part of being a fulfilled and magical person, so they like to encourage this in us. Their jokes tend to be a bit more subtle than the Help-Line Troupe, and that is probably just as well. A thing I've noticed, though, is that Faeries in general don't think much of some of the human notions about "dignity" (read "pomposity"). They have a tendency to want to deflate whatever or who-ever they see as overinflated. True dignity comes from being kind and showing respect and consideration for others and ourselves. It is not the slightest bit stuffy and is much admired by the faeries. You will find a lot of them have a great deal of it.

These faery guides also help us to discover the joys of living more harmoniously with nature, with each other, and with them. Every denizen of Faery is, in his or her or its own way, helping the worlds, ours and theirs, move toward greater harmony. We are, too, each in our own way.
